“Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” by J.K. Rowling

Harry_Potter_and_the_Prisoner_of_Azkaban_(US_cover)“Chamber of Secrets” was only three books and five months ago so that’s not so bad… right? Anyway, if I actually were to take time to read, this book probably would’ve taken me less than a month. In fact, I read half of it in the last week or so. But then again, school is over for the semester so I actually have time to read fun books and not scary law school books.

Anyway, it’s Harry Potter, what is there to explain? It’s wonderful and beautiful and J.K. Rowling is amazingly creative and her imagination is literally the stuff that dreams are made of and I love her.

My only regret in reading these books again is that I’ve already read them multiple times and seen all the movies over and over again so I know what is going to happen and I can’t be surprised anymore. I wish there was a way to go back as if you had never read the books so you could experience it all over again and again.

I brought “Goblet of Fire” home with me for Christmas break but I also brought six other books to read (because options) so I’m not sure when I’ll start it yet. Could be now, could be later, could (regrettably) be much later. Depends on how I feel. Hopefully it just won’t take another five months.

As Harry, Ron, and Hermione would say, “Happy Christmas!”
